Privacy Policy
Revision date: September 21, 2026
Brandlete, Inc. (“Brandlete,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and share information through our website at www.brandlete.com, our mobile application, and the other features and services we offer (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use, available at www.brandlete.com/terms.
Brandlete is used by sports organizations, teams, coaches, administrators, athletes, and their parents and guardians. How this Privacy Policy applies to you depends on your age and your relationship to an organization or team on Brandlete — see Section 2 below.
2. Who Brandlete Serves
Brandlete is used by people in different roles, often on the same team or in the same organization: sports organizations, clubs, schools, and academies, and the administrators and directors who run them; coaches, who manage teams, rosters, and athlete development; athletes, who may be adults, teenagers, or children depending on the sport and organization; and parents and legal guardians, who manage their children’s participation.
How we handle your information depends on your age:
- Adults (18 and over) hold and manage their own Brandlete account.
- Young people aged 13 to 17may hold their own Brandlete account, linked to a parent or legal guardian’s account — see Section 6.5.
- Children under 13do not have a Brandlete account. Their parent or legal guardian manages their participation through the parent’s own account — see Section 6.
3. Information We Collect
What we collect depends on how you use Brandlete and your role. It may include:
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored securely), and role.
- Contact information: email address, phone number, and mailing address, where provided.
- Role and organization information: the organizations, teams, and roles you’re associated with.
- Athlete profile information: name, sport, position, team, class year, and similar details.
- Parent or guardian information: name, email address, and relationship to the athlete.
- Team and roster information: team assignments and similar team details.
- Development information: goals, tasks, Development Playbooks, coach feedback, evaluations, and assessments, where these features are used.
- Performance information: statistics, measurements, and testing results, where used.
- Media: photos, videos, and voice recordings submitted through the Services, where used.
- Communications: messages sent through team or organization communication features.
- Registration and form information: information submitted through registration forms, waivers, or forms an organization configures.
- Transaction metadata: information about payments processed through the Services — see Section 13.
- Calendar and event information: schedules, events, and attendance, where used.
- Device and technical information: IP address, browser type, and similar information collected automatically.
- Cookies and analytics information: see Section 17.
- Integration information: information exchanged with third-party services you connect — see Section 14.
- Customer support communications.
- Public profile selections: information you or your organization choose to make public, where eligible — see Section 8.
Not every user provides every category above; what’s collected depends on which features are actually used.
4. Sources of Information
We may collect information from: you directly; a parent or legal guardian, on behalf of a child; an administrator, director, or coach acting for their organization or team; a sports organization, club, school, academy, tournament operator, or camp/clinic operator, where they have authority to submit it; your own use of the Services; connected third-party services you choose to link; and payment processors, in connection with a transaction.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and operate the Services; create and manage accounts, roles, and permissions; support athlete development; manage teams, organizations, rosters, and schedules; process registrations and payments; facilitate communication between authorized users; provide athlete profiles and public pages where enabled; provide customer support; maintain security and prevent abuse; improve the Services through aggregate analytics; provide AI-powered features where applicable (Section 11); send operational communications; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use information to serve advertising within the signed-in application or mobile app — see Section 16.
6. Children and Teen Athletes
6.1 Children Under 13
Brandlete does not offer accounts to children under 13. A child under 13 cannot sign in to the Services, does not have a username or password, and does not use the Services directly.
Instead, a team, club, or organization may add a child under 13 to its roster. If they do, the parent or legal guardian manages the child’s participation entirely through the parent’s own Brandlete account, once the parent has given permission — see Section 6.3.
We do not collect information directly from a child under 13. We do not ask a child under 13 for an email address or telephone number.
6.2 Parent-Managed Participation
Because a child under 13 has no account, everything related to the child’s participation happens through the parent’s account: the parent reviews and manages the child’s information, handles any communication involving the child’s participation on a team, and is the point of contact for the child’s coach, club, or organization.
6.3 Parental Permission
Before we collect anything more than the minimum needed to ask for permission, we contact the child’s parent or legal guardian directly.
Before permission is given. When a team adds a child under 13 to a roster, we keep only the child’s first name and the parent’s email address, so we can ask the parent for permission. We use this information for no other purpose. If the parent doesn’t respond within 30 days, we delete this information and remove the child from the roster.
Giving permission. We email the parent directly, explain that the child has been added to a team and does not have an account, and ask the parent to review and give permission. The parent confirms they’re the child’s parent or legal guardian, reviews what Brandlete will hold about their child, and gives permission by signing a consent form and confirming their own Brandlete account password. In giving permission, the parent also accepts our Terms of Use and confirms they’ve reviewed this Privacy Policy.
After permission is given. With the parent’s permission, Brandlete holds the child’s name, birth year, and team details (such as position and jersey number) so the child’s coach and club can run the team. This information lives in the parent’s account. It goes only to the service providers that help us operate the Services, and is never sold or used for advertising.
Material changes. If we materially change how we collect, use, or share a child’s information, we will notify the parent and obtain their permission again before the new practice applies to their child. Continued use of the Services doesn’t substitute for that notice and consent where a child’s information is involved.
6.4 Parent Rights
If you’re the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 on Brandlete, you can, at any time, from your own account or by emailing info@brandlete.com:
- Review the information we hold about your child.
- Correct your child’s information.
- Request deletion of your child’s information.
- Withdraw your permission for your child’s participation.
- Ask us not to collect further information about your child.
We may ask you to verify that you’re the child’s parent or legal guardian before acting on these requests. Withdrawing permission means your child can no longer take part in the Services, and we will delete the child’s information consistent with Section 20.
6.5 Users Aged 13 to 17
A young person aged 13 to 17 may hold their own Brandlete account. A parent or legal guardian accepts our Terms of Use on the young person’s behalf and is responsible for their use of the Services, and the account may be linked to the parent’s own account.
If you’re the parent or legal guardian of a user aged 13 to 17, you can review the information we hold about them, ask us to correct it, or request its deletion at any time, from your own account or by emailing info@brandlete.com. We may ask you to verify your relationship to the young person before acting on these requests.
7. Athlete Development Information
Brandlete is built around the athlete’s ongoing development. Depending on the features an athlete, coach, or organization uses, an athlete’s development history may include: name and profile information, sport, position, team, and organization; season history; goals and tasks; Development Playbooks; coach feedback, including voice feedback; evaluations and assessments; achievements and awards; performance measurements and statistics; attendance and event participation; photos, video, and highlight media; recruiting information, including schools of interest, where an athlete or family chooses to add it; and public profile selections.
Not every athlete has every category above — what’s part of an athlete’s record depends on which features are actually used.
8. Athlete Profiles and Public Visibility
Brandlete distinguishes between levels of visibility: private account information, visible only to the account holder and people with a role-based reason to see it (Section 9); team or organization visible information, visible to authorized members of a specific team or organization; and publicly visible information, visible to anyone, where a user has chosen to make a public profile or page available.
For eligible users, a public athlete profile may include selected information such as name or display name, photo, sport, position, team, class year, statistics, performance metrics, achievements, media and highlight video, recruiting status, schools of interest, and external links — where the user or their organization has chosen to make that information public. Not every field is public, and what’s public is a choice, not a default.
Children under 13 are the exception.Consistent with Section 6, nothing about a child under 13 — their name, photo, team membership, or any other information — is made publicly available.
9. Teams, Organizations, and Authorized Access
Brandlete may include private Team Hubs, public team pages, organization pages, tournament hubs, and camp, clinic, and event pages. What’s visible on each depends on the role of the person viewing it, the organization’s and team’s settings, and applicable privacy settings.
Administrators, directors, coaches, and other authorized organization staff may access information reasonably necessary for their role — for example, roster information, athlete identity, team participation, goals, tasks, Playbooks, feedback, evaluations, attendance, schedules, performance metrics, and registration information. This access is role-based and permission-based: not everyone with a Brandlete account can see every athlete’s information, and access generally follows an actual organization, team, or parent/guardian relationship.
For minors, we’re particularly careful about names, photos, team membership, schedules, locations, and contact information appearing on a public-facing page — see Section 8.
10. Communications and Media
Brandlete supports communication features such as direct messages, team messages, organization notices and announcements, and coach feedback (including voice feedback). These features are available only to their intended recipients and to users authorized for that feature — they aren’t public forums unless a specific feature is designed to be public.
Brandlete may also process photos, videos, highlight media, and voice recordings, used within private, team, organization, or public contexts depending on applicable permissions and settings.
For a child under 13:the child has no login and cannot independently message anyone or use chat or public-forum features. A parent may take part in their child’s team communication through the parent’s own account.
11. AI-Powered Features
Brandlete includes AI-powered features, including our assistant, Max, which can generate suggestions, summaries, drafts, Playbooks, development plans, recommendations, and other output based on information available within your authorized Brandlete context.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. It’s a recommendation, not a guarantee, and isn’t medical advice, safety advice, eligibility advice, or professional coaching advice. Where a coach writes or speaks about an athlete, that input is processed as written or spoken — it isn’t altered by the AI feature before being used.
Text and other information submitted to an AI-powered feature is processed by an AI service provider. Our AI features are not used with a child under 13.
12. Registrations, Events, Forms, Camps, Clinics, and Tournaments
Brandlete supports registration, forms, waivers, teams, tournaments, camps, clinics, tryouts, and other events. An organization may configure a form to request specific information from athletes or families for a particular program. What’s collected depends on that form and program — Brandlete doesn’t independently choose every field an organization requests.
13. Payments
Brandlete supports payment processing for registrations, fees, and other transactions. Payments are handled through a third-party payment processor. We receive transaction status, amount, transaction identifiers, and similar metadata needed to reconcile transactions — we don’t independently store complete payment card information. We’re not certified under PCI or any other payment-industry standard, and we don’t claim to be.
14. Integrations and Third-Party Services
Brandlete may connect to or integrate with third-party services you choose to use, such as calendar services (for example, Google Calendar or an Apple calendar subscription). Where you connect an integration, we share the information necessary to provide it. The third-party service’s own privacy policy applies to its handling of your information.
15. How We Share Information
We share information:
- With service providers who help us operate the Services (hosting, payment processing, email and notifications, analytics, AI-assisted features), only with what they need to perform that service.
- Within your organization or team, based on role and permission (Section 9).
- With integrations you choose to connect (Section 14).
- In connection with a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same commitments in this Privacy Policy.
- To comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Brandlete, our users, or others.
We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold any. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No data broker receives personal information from us for those purposes.
For a child under 13:we share a child’s information only with the service providers that help us operate the Services, and only as needed to do so. We don’t sell a child’s information, share it with advertising networks or data brokers, or use it for advertising of any kind.
16. Sale, Advertising, and Behavioral Tracking
We do not sell personal information. We have not sold personal information in the past. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The signed-in Brandlete application and our mobile app do not show advertising and do not use advertising networks or behavioral tracking.
The rest of this section describes our marketing website (www.brandlete.com) only, which is separate from the signed-in application. As of this Privacy Policy’s last update, the marketing website uses Google Analytics for basic site analytics (Section 17) and does not use any advertising network, remarketing pixel, or third-party behavioral-tracking technology.
17. Cookies and Analytics
Brandlete’s marketing website uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the marketing site; Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some site functionality may not work as intended if you disable them.
The signed-in application uses cookies necessary for authentication and to maintain your session.
18. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including role-based access controls and encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
19. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.
For a child under 13:if a parent doesn’t respond to our request for permission within 30 days, we delete the child’s first name and the parent’s email address held to make that request, and remove the child from the roster. If a parent asks us to delete their child’s information, we do so consistent with Section 20.
Brandlete does not yet have a single published retention schedule covering every category of information beyond what’s described here. We’re treating this as a priority internal item, and this section will be updated as that work is completed.
20. Deletion and Account Closure
You can request deletion of your account and information by contacting info@brandlete.com. A parent can request deletion of their child’s information the same way, or from their own account.
When we delete information, we remove it so it’s not maintained in a form we can retrieve in the normal course of business. Some information may take time to be removed from backups, and we may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, or for legitimate business records such as transaction history.
21. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we’ve collected, disclosed, or (as discussed above) not sold; to access or correct your information; to request deletion; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. You can exercise these rights by emailing info@brandlete.com.
See Section 6.4 for the rights available to parents and legal guardians of children under 13.
22. California Privacy Rights
If you’re a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:
- Disclosure. The right to request a report showing the personal information we’ve collected about you, and the categories of third parties we’ve disclosed it to, in the preceding 12 months. We have not sold personal information about you.
- Opt-Out. The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information and the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do neither, so there’s nothing to opt out of.
- Deletion. The right to request that we delete personal information we’ve collected from you.
- Non-Discrimination.We won’t discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

25. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll post the updated policy here and update the “Last Updated” date.
For a child under 13,we won’t rely on continued use of the Services as acceptance of a material change to how we collect, use, or share the child’s information. Instead, we’ll notify the child’s parent and obtain any additional permission required before the new practice applies to their child — see Section 6.3.
